Charitable Vision Fund
(Policies)

1. Minimum initial contribution: $50,000
2. Future contributions to your account in amounts of $1,000 or more
3. Minimum amount for recommended grants: $250 each
4. Minimum annual distribution requirement:
   5% of the market value of the Charitable Vision Fund (valued on the last business day of the calendar year) must be distributed each year. Because World Vision is fully committed to bringing physical and spiritual hope to children and families in need around the world, at least 10% of this minimum annual distribution must be allocated to one or more of World Vision’s projects or where most needed by World Vision.
5. Gifts of real estate, closely held stock, limited partnership interests, and personal property will be accepted, subject to approval by the World Vision gift acceptance committee.
6. Costs related to the liquidation of non-cash assets will be charged against your Fund balance.
7. World Vision shall give each distribution request full respect and consideration, and involvement by donors in the distribution review process is both welcomed and encouraged. In approving distribution requests, World Vision may consider several criteria, including recommendations by World Vision’s Board of Directors and independent investigation by World Vision staff.
8. Distribution requests to bona fide IRC 501(c)(3) charitable organizations will generally be approved, unless those requests are to organizations whose mission or activities are contrary to the Christian ethos and core values of World Vision.
