"I just want to thank Him by helping His little ones." Pat Miles, Kentucky Asked about her lifelong generosity, Pat responds with a question of her own. "Why shouldn't I give?" she asks. "The Lord has blessed me." Pat knows firsthand the power of Jesus' words in Luke 6:38. "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over . . ." "God has done that for me," says Pat. "He's provided all my needs and wants." According to Pat, there's an important reason for all this blessing: "God has given me plenty so I can be a blessing to others." Blessing, gratitude, generosity-they're the defining marks of Pat's life. Having been a child sponsor for the best part of five decades, Pat recently decided to include World Vision in her estate plan, too. "You're the beneficiary on my IRAs, CDs, and even my house when my husband and I no longer need it." Now, she says, "I can have the satisfaction of knowing that the money I don't need will be put to good use. With World Vision, I know who I'm helping. The money goes where it needs to go-to those who do not have the basics of life." Ever since sponsoring her first child in 1963, Pat has never looked back. "Supporting children through World Vision is by far the most rewarding and secure investment I've ever made," she says. "God has been so good to me, and I cannot begin to repay him. I just want to thank Him by helping His little ones." ![]() Do your current plans reflect the legacy you want to leave?
