It's been fifty years since Mona first heard about World Vision. She had just completed nursing school when she made the decision to sponsor a child.

"The children need help," she says in a matter-of-fact voice.

Help is something Mona never stops offering. After many years, she still loves to give because, in her words, "It is such a good feeling to know that I'm helping one little person. I'm happy to do it."

Mona wants to keep on helping children, long into the future. "It has been a blessing for me to be part of World Vision's ministry," she says. "I want that to continue, even when I'm no longer here."

When Mona redid her will recently, she added a bequest to World Vision. For her, it was an easy decision to make. "You really can't go wrong with World Vision. They are an honest and blessed organization."

Even as Mona continues to give, she finds that the joy of making a difference is a gift in itself. "I feel good about supporting World Vision. It gives me peace of mind. It gives my life more meaning."
