"It means a lot to me, but it means everything to God." Ruth Kehn, California "God's been good to me. So I thought, Why can't I help somebody else?" This question inspired a life-changing journey more than four decades in the making. Ruth first got to know World Vision in 1963 during a concert by the Korean Children's Choir. "At the event," she recalls, "someone got up and talked about child sponsorship. That's how I got started." Ruth has been a sponsor ever since. She doesn't live what anyone would consider a lavish life, but God has always provided for Ruth's needs-"being able to pay bills and things like that," as she puts it. Wanting to share God's blessing with others, Ruth found World Vision to be a natural partner. "So many children have been helped by World Vision. I believe in what they do, and I don't have to worry about their integrity." Recently, Ruth decided to add World Vision to her will. "I can still be part of their ministry after I go to be with the Lord," she explains. "I don't have any children of my own, so this is a way I can help someone else's child. It's my legacy, and I know it will help others. "The most rewarding thing is that I'm helping someone who normally wouldn't have a very good life. And you can do it with just a little money. I know it means a lot to me, but it means everything to God. You can't help but get a blessing from it." ![]() Do your current plans reflect the legacy you want to leave?
