Hope. For the world's poorest children, it is in short supply. Extreme poverty fueled by war, natural disasters, and a lack of opportunity has created a chasm between these children and their God-given potential.

Become a member of The World Vision Society today and build your legacy of hope!

"I can think of no greater way to leave a legacy of hope than through the ministry of World Vision. And I'm proud to be a member of The World Vision Society. I know that the portion of my estate that I've bequeathed to World Vision will be used to help show God's love to children and families in need for years to come."
Dr. Ted Engstrom
(Author and former World Vision president)

One Man's Legacy

More than 50 years ago, it was the gift of one man-Dr. Bob Pierce-for one child that started World Vision. Today, Bob Pierce's legacy bridges the gap for millions of children each year through World Vision's ministry. The world's children need more heroes like this-people with a compassionate vision that extends beyond their lifetime.

World Vision depends on such heroes to continue offering tangible hope to children in need. If you are a person who shares this vision, we invite you to join The World Vision Society. World Vision established this legacy society to honor those who have demonstrated their love and commitment for the poor by including World Vision in their estate plans.

Your Legacy

When you remember World Vision in your estate plans, your legacy will continue blessing the world's poorest children for generations to come. Your bequest gift, made through your will or estate planning, will help us respond quickly to emergencies and rescue children from abject poverty. Your gift will provide things like clean water, nutritious food, health care, educational opportunities, and economic stability. Perhaps most importantly, a portion of your bequest gift will support World Vision's ongoing commitment to share Christian values and love to children and families in need.

Become an Honored Member

When you notify us that you are including World Vision in your estate plans, or when you establish a deferred gift agreement with World Vision, you are invited to become a member of The World Vision Society. Society members are recognized and honored partners dedicated to reaching the poor for generations to come.

As a member of The World Vision Society, you will receive:

  • A commemorative gift-our small way of saying thanks for your generosity and commitment.
  • Special invitations to World Vision events.
  • Practical, insightful information about estate planning through a special newsletter for members of The World Vision Society.
  • Recognition as a member of The World Vision Society in one of our annual publications (with your permission).
